Founded in Kansas City, A Hand Up Resources & Community Outreach has grown into a trusted community partner serving young people ages 14–24, families, and the broader community. We respond to real needs, especially where people may be overlooked or lost between systems. By listening to youth voices and collaborating with schools, families and community partners, we create practical pathways to safety, opportunity and support.
Our difference is that we listen first. We identify barriers, offer a hand before someone has a complete plan, and connect people with the training, resources and relationships they need to move forward.
